Man Killed in El Cajon Pedestrian Crash at Second Street and Madison Avenue
El Cajon, California (July 20, 2020) – A male party died following a pedestrian accident that took place in El Cajon Wednesday afternoon, the El Cajon Police Department reported.
The fatal accident was reported at around 3:32 p.m. at North Second Street and East Madison Avenue.
As per the dispatch, a male pedestrian was possibly trying to cross the highway from outside of a marked crosswalk when a southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck with a green light struck him in the afternoon hours.
The initial report indicated that the man possibly stepped out between two parked automobiles into the front of the truck at the time of the crash.
The involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.

The pedestrian died at an area hospital while undergoing treatment.
No additional information about the mishap was provided.
