60-Year-Old Woman Killed in El Cajon Pedestrian Crash at East Chase Avenue and Avocado Avenue
El Cajon, California (November 29, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Thursday night in El Cajon, according to a police report.
The incident took place at about 8:04 p.m. November 28, on East Chase Avenue and Avocado Avenue.
Police said a 60-year-old woman was walking across the intersection when she was hit by a 2001 Toyota Tacoma.
Woman Killed in El Cajon Pedestrian Crash
Emergency crews performed CPR on the victim, before transporting her to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Tacoma remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The El Cajon Police Department is investigating the crash.
