One Killed in El Cajon Crash on I-8 West Offramp at West Main Street
El Cajon, California (October 5, 2019) – A person was killed in a crash involving two vehicles on Friday afternoon in El Cajon, according to the CHP.
The crash happened at around 4:30 p.m. October 4, on the I-8 West off-ramp at West Main Street.
CHP said possibly a motorcycle or similar three-wheel vehicle rear-ended a Nissan Murano SUV. The impact ejected the rider and threw them onto the ground.
A victim was rushed to a hospital but was later pronounced deceased.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the crash.
