2 Injured in El Cajon Car Accident on 8 Freeway near Lake Jennings Park
El Cajon, California (September 30, 2019) – Two people were injured late Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident in El Cajon, according to a local news report.
The crash, which was reported at around 6:14 p.m. Sunday, September 29, happened on the Interstate 8 Freeway near Lake Jennings Park Road.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided on the 8 Freeway for reasons still under investigation. The force of the impact caused the vehicles involved to crash into some parked cars in the area.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and rendered aid to two people who were injured as a result of the crash. The paramedics confirmed that at least one of them sustained major injuries in the accident.
Both patients were then taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital for further treatment. However, at this time, their names and condition remained undisclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
