Edmund Saldivar ID’d as Mobility Scooter Rider Killed in Walnut Crash at Amar Road and Country Hollow Drive
Walnut, California (July 13, 2021) – Edmund Saldivar, 68, has been identified as the male mobility scooter rider who was killed in a Sunday afternoon traffic accident in Walnut, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
The deadly accident occurred at about 4:35 p.m., on July 11, at the intersection of Amar Road and Country Hollow Drive.
According to the officials, Saldivar, who was riding a medical mobility scooter, was struck by a vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, Saldivar was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver told the authorities that he realized he had hit something, pulled over, and discovered the man’s body and scooter. He told investigators the sun might have gotten in his eyes at the time of the collision.
