Eastvale, CA: 1 Killed, 2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Pomona Freeway
One Killed, Two Injured in Eastvale Car Accident on Pomona (60) Freeway near Ontario (15) Freeway
Eastvale, California (November 30, 2019) – One person was killed and two others were injured early Saturday morning in a traffic accident in Eastvale, according to a local news source.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the rollover crash happened at around 3:15 a.m. on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway near the interchange with the southbound Ontario (15) Freeway.
The CHP said the collision involved three vehicles. At least one vehicle reportedly crashed into the overturned vehicle.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
One person sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital while a second declined medical attention.
All westbound lanes of the Pomona Freeway were closed following the crash. Motorists were diverted onto the Ontario Freeway.The northbound Ontario Freeway connector ramp to the westbound Pomona Freeway was also shut down.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
