East Los Angeles, California (April 9, 2021) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, one person survived with serious injuries following a pedestrian accident in East Los Angeles Tuesday night.
The April 6 crash happened in the area of Whittier Boulevard and Via Del Oro Street just around 9:15 p.m.
A man was hit by an automobile at the East Los Angeles intersection near Garfield Avenue for undetermined reasons.
Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries in Whittier Boulevard
Medical personnel attended to the pedestrian before transporting them to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The CHP did not disclose details regarding the involved motorist.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
