Person Killed in East Compton Pedestrian Accident at East Rosecrans and South Atlantic Avenues
East Compton, California (December 13, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night at an intersection in East Compton, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened just before 10:40 p.m. Saturday, December 12, at the intersection of East Rosecrans and South Atlantic avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the pedestrian was hit by a white Nissan Altima at the East Compton intersection for unknown reasons.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in East Compton
Medical personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The roadway was closed while the authorities investigated the scene.
