Irwindale Police Officer Among 2 Injured in Duarte Pedestrian Crash at Las Lomas Road and Huntington Drive
Duarte, California (June 27, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday night traffic accident that left two pedestrians, including an Irwindale Police officer, injured in Duarte.
The accident occurred at about 9:31 p.m., on June 26, at Las Lomas Road and Huntington Drive.
According to the officials, a pedestrian was headed westbound on Huntington Drive when a vehicle struck them in unclear circumstances.
The Irwindale Police officer was also struck by a vehicle while directing traffic at the scene.
2 Injured in Pedestrian Accident at Las Lomas Road and Huntington Drive
The civilian pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident. The police officer was also injured in the accident. They were all hospitalized for treatment.
