Hollywood, California (October 8, 2020) – A driver was killed in a wrong-way car crash in Hollywood on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1 a.m. on Highway 101 near Hollywood Boulevard.
The authorities said a black 2008 BMW was headed southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway when it was involved in a crash involving a total of four vehicles.
The driver of the BMW was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
One other driver was hospitalized with major injuries.
The collision resulted in a temporary closure of the northbound lanes of the highway as crews worked to remove the vehicles.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
