Long Beach Man Christopher Goldman Killed in Car Accident at Atlantic Avenue and Rhea Street
Long Beach, California (May 6, 2020) – 26-year-old Christopher Goldman, of Long Beach, has been identified as the motorist who died following a two-vehicle crash in Long Beach Tuesday morning.
The fatal crash took place at Atlantic Avenue and Rhea Street at approximately 10:00 a.m.
According to a Long Beach Police Department report, a 1999 Toyota Camry, operated by Goldman, was struck by a 2008 Lexus ES350 that was heading southbound on Atlantic Avenue on May 5.
The initial report showed that the Camry was making a left turn from eastbound Rhea Street to northbound Atlantic Avenue at the time of the collision.

Due to the impact, Goldman was trapped in the wreckage and died at the scene.
The Lexus motorist, 42-year-old man, was not hurt following the wreck.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
