Woodland, California (March 25, 2019) – A driver died in a car accident which left another motorist seriously injured in Woodland, Yolo County, on Saturday night, March 23.
According to a local news source, the fatal accident occurred on Highway 98 near Highway 27 at an unspecified time.
The authorities said a northbound Chevrolet veered into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a Ford carrying five occupants.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a resident of Williams, was killed in the collision.
The 17-year-old male driver of the Ford, a resident of Esparto, was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Three passengers in the Ford sustained minor injuries in the collision.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
