San Diego, California (April 23, 2021) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died after being struck by a vehicle last week on Saturday night in San Diego as Douglas Bailey Edward, 59, of San Diego.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at around 9:15 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in the 3000 block of Clairmont Drive.
According to the authorities, Edward was crossing the street on Clairmont Drive when he was hit by a vehicle.

Edward was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital- La Jolla, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
