Woman Killed in Sacramento Car Crash on 47th Avenue near 54th Street ID’d as Doris Griffin
Sacramento, California – 72-year-old Doris Yvonne Griffin, of Sacramento, has been identified as the woman who died following a pedestrian accident last Thursday morning in south Sacramento, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office reported.
The fatal collision occurred at around 7:00 a.m. March 26, on 47th Avenue near 54th Street.
According to a local news source, the accident involved two vehicles of unspecified types that collided on the highway for undisclosed reasons.

Medical personnel responded to the crash site and transported both drivers, including Griffin, to the hospital.
Griffin died at the hospital while the other motorist was treated for minor injuries and released.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
