Dixon, California (October 3, 2019) – A woman was on Wednesday evening struck and killed by a train in Dixon, according to a local news source.

The crash took place at around 5:45 p.m. October 2, near North First and East C streets.

The circumstances under which the woman was struck were not determined.

Woman Dies in Dixon Train-Pedestrian Crash

The victim died in the crash. Her identity was not immediately released.

Authorities are working to find out what caused the crash.
