Dixon, CA: Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Interstate 80
Rider Seriously Injured in Dixon Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 80 (Dwight Eisenhower Highway)near Kidwell Road
Dixon, California (April 25, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday evening in a collision with a car in Dixon, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The major injury collision took place on Interstate 80 near the Kidwell Road onramp on Friday, April 23. Interstate 80 is also known as Dwight Eisenhower Highway.
The motorcyclist collided with an Audi in the westbound lane of Interstate 80, the CHP report states.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated the rider who was trapped underneath the Audi.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries in the crash. The name and current condition of the patient were not disclosed.
No further details about the accident were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
