Dixon, California (April 3, 2019) – One person was trapped after a two-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning in the area of Dixon, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 2:17 a.m. Wednesday, on eastbound 80 Freeway, just east of Pedrick Road On-ramp.
As per the CHP officials, a minivan and a sedan crashed for unknown reasons. The sedan went off the roadway and overturned following the crash.
One person was trapped in one of the vehicles and needed extrication.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
