Dianne Pierce Hurt in Fatal Stanislaus County Crash on Oakdale-Waterford Highway
Stanislaus County, California (July 2, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized after a fatal collision with a motorcyclist on Monday night in Stanislaus County, according to the CHP.
The wreck happened at about 7:10 p.m. July 1, on Oakdale-Waterford Highway at Rice Road.
CHP said Dianne Pierce, 61, of Denair was stopped at a stop sign on Rice Road when she pulled into the intersection and collided with a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle that was traveling northbound on the highway.

The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle. The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Pierce’s car caught fire in the crash. She sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
The incident is under investigation.
