Diana Sue Sunoskie Killed in 2-Car Accident on Highway 18 in San Bernardino
Diana Sue Sunoskie ID’d as Woman Killed in San Bernardino Crash on Highway 18 near Upper Waterman Canyon Road

San Bernardino, California (April 26, 2019) – The woman who was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-car accident in San Bernardino has been identified as Diana Sue Sunoskie, 72, of Crestline, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner.
The tragic accident took place at about 12:40 p.m. Thursday, April 25 on Highway 18, just south of Upper Waterman Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford Ranger was heading southbound on Highway 18 in an unknown lane at an unknown speed when for an as of yet to be determined reason it rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was parked on the right shoulder of Highway 18.
The CHP said the tractor-trailer was parked completely off the roadway.

Sunoskie, who was a passenger in the Ford, was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the Ford was also taken to Loma Linda Medical Center with major injuries. The operator of the tractor-trailer sustained minor injuries.
Drugs were considered a factor in the collision.
