Dhanyor De Guzman ID’d as 26-Year-Old Man Killed in Oakland Crash on Interstate 880 near Stevenson Boulevard Onramp
Oakland, California (May 1, 2021) – Dhanyor De Guzman, 26, of Union City, has been identified as the man who was killed in a Saturday morning traffic accident in Oakland, according to the Alameda County Coroner’s Office.
The deadly accident occurred at about 3:05 a.m. on Interstate 880 near Stevenson Boulevard onramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Mazda, driven by Guzman, collided in the southbound lanes of Interstate 880 in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and found a body lying in the roadway.
Sadly, Guzman was killed in the accident.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped due to the collision. As of 7:00 a.m., all lanes of the freeway were reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
