Denise Kudla Among 3 Killed in Paso Robles Crash on Nacimiento Lake near San Marcos Road
Paso Robles, California (September 3, 2019) – Denise A. Kudla, 59, of Paso Robles was among three people killed in a two-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Paso Robles.
The wreck happened at around 2:09 p.m. Monday, September 2, on Nacimiento Lake Drive, just east of San Marcos Road.
The CHP said a 2015 Dodge Dart was traveling eastbound on Nacimiento Lake Drive when, for an unknown reason, the Dodge drifted across the double yellow lines to pass another vehicle and collided head-on into a 2001 Ford F-150 that was traveling westbound.

Denise Kudla was a passenger in the Ford and was transported to a local trauma center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the Ford suffered lacerations and cuts and sought medical treatment on his own.
The driver and the right-front passenger of the Dodge were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol was believed to be a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
