Rider Sustains Major Injuries in Davis Motorcycle Collision on Interstate 80 near Road 32A

Davis, California (July 16, 2021) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries In a traffic collision that happened Thursday evening in Davis, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities received reports about the crash at around 6:05 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80, just a mile west of Road 32a.
The wreck involved a fully dressed Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a silver Mitsubishi SUV.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to find the vehicles blocking the roadway and multiple other vehicles stopped in the area.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries, the report said. The patient was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
Both the motorcycle and the SUV were towed away from the scene.
CHP officers are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
