Rider Hospitalized after 80 Freeway Motorcycle Accident near Chiles Road in Davis
Davis, California (August 29, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a car Thursday morning on a freeway in Davis, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The 80 Freeway motorcycle accident happened at about 8:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes, just east of Chiles Road off-ramp.
As per the report, a silver Honda Fit collided with a motorcycle for unknown reasons. The driver of the Honda stopped on the right-hand shoulder after the crash to check on the rider.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to UC Davis Medical Center.
The motorcycle was towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
