Bakersfield, California (January 6, 2021) – David Allen Roberson, 60, was arrested following a hit-and-run accident that killed a bicyclist in July in Bakersfield.

The deadly accident happened at around 5:51 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, in the 300 block of Oak Street.

As per the report, a bicyclist was struck by a late 1990s to early 2000s GMC Sierra pick-up truck whose driver fled the scene.

The bicyclist died in the accident.

David Roberson Arrested in July Hit-and-run Crash

Roberson was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run, among other charges.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
