David Maxim Arrested after Canyon Country Car Crash on Soledad Canyon Road near Anne Freda Street
Canyon Country, California (May 29, 2019) – A man was arrested following a suspected DUI collision that left a woman and a child injured on Friday afternoon in Canyon Country, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The collision happened just after 5 p.m. May 24, on Soledad Canyon Road near Anne Freda Street.
Deputies said David Maxim, 34, of Canyon Country, was driving eastbound on Soledad Canyon Road at a high rate of speed when he allegedly ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle carrying a mother and a child.

The woman and the child were both taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Maxim was arrested on suspicion of DUI causing bodily injury.
The deputies are investigating the collision.
