Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident at Lone Jack Road and Rancho Santa Fe Road in Encinitas
Encinitas, California (September 30, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a pedestrian accident in Encinitas last week Monday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 6:45 a.m. September 23, at Lone Jack Road and Rancho Santa Fe Road.
The authorities said 76-year-old David Goodblatt was walking across the street when he was hit by a car.

Goodblatt sustained serious injuries and was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla where he died two days later.
The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
