Fairfax, California (February 11, 2020) – Authorities has released the name of an electric scooter male rider who died following a traffic collision that happened in the area of Fairfax at around 8:30 a.m. on February 7.

The fatal collision was reported on Friday morning on Creek Road near Dominga Avenue.

According to a local news source, a vehicle of unspecified built collided with 74-year-old David Dunne, who was riding an electric scooter on the highway.

Dunne sustained serious injuries in the accident. He was rushed to MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbrae, where he died eight hours later after admission.

Details about the driver of the vehicle involved were not immediately released at the time of the report.
