David Cosper Injured in Motorcycle Accident at Broadway and Riverside Boulevard in Sacramento
David Cosper ID’d as Motorcyclist Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Crash at Broadway and Riverside Boulevard

Sacramento, California (July 7, 2021) – The motorcyclist who was injured late last month following a hit-and-run crash in Sacramento has been identified as David Cosper.
The crash took place on Broadway and Riverside Boulevard on the morning of June 27.
A surveillance video from a nearby gas station showed the driver of car running a red light before hitting Cosper on his motorcycle.
In the video, two occupants exited the vehicle and fled the scene. Another passenger got into the driving seat and drove off.
Cosper sustained two broken legs in the crash and was transported to a hospital.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a 2017 gray Hyundai Sonata with a license plate believed to be 7VMW954.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run suspects.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help cover medical expenses for Cosper.
