David Carter Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Specialty Drive and Poinsettia Avenue in Vista
David Carter ID’d as Person Killed in Vista Motorcycle Crash at Specialty Drive and Poinsettia Avenue

Vista, California (April 26, 2019) – The person who was killed Sunday evening in a motorcycle accident in Vista has been identified as David C. Carter, 30, of Vista, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The tragic accident occurred at about 6:07 p.m. Sunday, April 21 at the intersection of Specialty Drive and Poinsettia Avenue.
Authorities said Carter was riding his motorcycle westbound on Poinsettia Avenue when he came to the intersection and a vehicle traveling eastbound tried to turn left in front of him, onto Specialty Avenue.
Carter’s motorcycle then collided with the vehicle. Carter was thrown from his bike upon the impact.
Carter was declared dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
San Diego County Sherrif is investigating the crash.
