Darla Soto-Vargas ID’d as 1 of 2 Killed in Hesperia Car Crash on Escondido Avenue and Sultana Street
Hesperia, California (August 17, 2020) – Darla Soto-Vargas, from Victor Valley, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a traffic collision on Friday night in Hesperia, authorities said.
The deadly crash happened at about 8:41 p.m., on August 14, on Escondido Avenue and Sultana Street.
According to the police, a GMC Yukon, a white Acura and a Honda CRV collided on the roadway. The manner at which the crash occurred is yet to be established.

Soto-Vargas, who was in the Yukon, and the Acura driver were pronounced dead at the scene.
Thomas Vargas and their teenage daughter Lilah sustained critical injuries and were taken to Loma Linda Hospital.
The driver of the CRV, a male, was not injured in the accident.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
