Danville, California (June 8, 2020) – Two people were killed in a wrong-way car crash on Sunday morning in Danville, according to police.

The crash happened at about 3:45 p.m., on June 7, on Interstate Highway 680 near El Pintado Road.

As per the officials’ report, a 2020 Ford Fusion, driven by a 27-year-old Concord woman, was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of Interstate Highway 680 when it collided head-on with a 2012 Honda Civic.

A 46-year-old woman, the Honda driver, and her 26-year-old male passenger, both from Antioch, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver, Camille Vera Anne Kimball, 27, of Concord, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to John Muir hospital for treatment. She was arrested for felony DUI and Vehicular Manslaughter and will be booked into county jail after she is medically cleared.
