Daniel Lopez-Beltran and Jesus Sanchez Injured in Yountville Crash on Highway 29 near California Drive

Yountville, California (November 26, 2020) – Three people were injured Sunday night in an alleged DUI crash in Yountville, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 10:20 p.m. Sunday, November 22, on Highway 29, just north of California Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Daniel Lopez-Beltran, 22, of Napa, was driving a car southbound on Highway 29 when, for unknown reasons, he rear-ended a van driven by Jesus Sanchez, 57, of San Pablo.
Due to the impact, the van veered off the roadway and crashed into a fence.
Lopez-Beltran was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with major injuries. Carlos Delgado, 19, of Napa, who was a passenger in Lopez-Beltran’s vehicle, was also transported to the hospital with a complaint of pain.
Sanchez went to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Both drivers were arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
