Daniel Gonzalez Killed in Car Accident on Van Buren Boulevard in Riverside
Daniel Gonzalez ID’d as Man Killed in Riverside Crash at Van Buren Boulevard and Victoria Avenue
Riverside, California (November 15, 2020) – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s office has identified the man who died following a single-vehicle traffic collision early Saturday morning in Riverside as Daniel Gonzalez, 47, of Riverside.
The deadly crash happened at around 1:29 a.m. Saturday, November 14, at the intersection of Van Buren Boulevard and Victoria Avenue.
Police said Gonzalez was driving a 2017 Toyota Prius southbound on Van Buren Boulevard when, for an unknown reason, he struck a traffic signal pole and then crashed into a fire hydrant.
Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:46 a.m.
The Riverside Police Department is investigating the accident.
