Daniel Estrada Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Echelon Avenue in City of Industry
Daniel Estrada ID’d as Man Killed in City of Industry Pedestrian Accident on Echelon Avenue near Pocono Street
City of Industry, California (February 4, 2019) – The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night as he walked in a street in the City of Industry has been identified as Daniel R. Estrada, 39, of Valinda, according to authorities.
The fatal accident happened at around 9:26 p.m. Saturday, February 2 on Echelon Avenue, just south of Pocono Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Estrada was walking eastbound across Echelon Avenue when he was hit by a southbound 2010 Subaru Impreza driven by a 23-year-old La Puente man.
The CHP said the driver was unable to avoid Estrada and struck him. The motorist stopped at the scene and complied with investigators.
Mr. Estrada was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
