Dana Kuehl ID’d as Woman Killed in Bicycle Accident on Hemlock Street at Seaside Drive in Oxnard
Oxnard, California (June 20, 2019) – The woman who was killed in a fatal bicycle accident in Oxnard early Tuesday morning has been identified as Dana Kuehl, 39, of Port Hueneme, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. June 18, on Hemlock Street at Seaside Drive.
As per the report, Kuehl was riding a bicycle westbound on Hemlock Street when she tried to make a left turn and was hit by a westbound 2009 Ford Explorer driven by a 26-year-old Oxnard man.

Kuehl was transported to Ventura County Medical Center in serious condition and was later pronounced deceased.
The driver involved is reported to have remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The CHP said alcohol, drugs and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
