Two LAPD Officers Hurt in Cypress Park Crash on North Jeffries Avenue and Avenue 28
Cypress Park, California (February 10, 2019) – Two LAPD officers were injured in a collision involving a suspected DUI driver in Cypress Park on Friday night, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened around 11 p.m. February 8, in the 2600 block of North Jeffries Avenue and Avenue 28.
The authorities said the officers were traveling eastbound on Avenue 28 when a driver heading south on North Jeffries Avenue failed to stop and struck the police vehicle.
The two officers were transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The civilian driver was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
The crash remains under investigation.
