Cynthia Hawkins Injured in Car Crash on Highway 101 near Highway 166 in Santa Maria
Santa Maria, California (November 12, 2019 – 57-year-old Cynthia Hawkins has been identified as the woman who was seriously injured in a car accident in Santa Maria on Sunday evening, November 10.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about midnight on Highway 101 near Highway 166.
CHP said 18-year-old Justin Koslosky of Sovang was driving a white sedan at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a black Nissan Sentra driven by 57-year-old Cynthia Hawkins.

The impact of the collision sent the Nissan Sentra into the center median while the Koslosky’s sedan off the roadway where it overturned onto its roof.
Hawkins, a resident of Pismo Beach, sustained major injuries and was taken to Marion Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria.
Kolosky also sustained major injuries and Marion Regional Medical Center. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No further information was provided.
