Cynthia Carey ID’d as Woman Killed in Capitola Crash on 41st Avenue and Clares Street
Capitola, California (March 28, 2019) – Police have identified a 60-year-old woman killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning in Capitola as Cynthia Carey of Mt. Hermon, according to a local news source.
The accident took place at about 10:00 a.m. March 26, on 41St Avenue and Clares Street.
Authorities said three vehicles were involved in the collision; a small electric car, a Ford van and a Metro bus. The Ford utility van rear-ended the electric vehicle which was occupied by Carey. The electric vehicle was then pushed forward and it struck the metro bus.

Carey sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
