Crescent City, California (August 4, 2019) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon near Crescent City, according to the CHP.
The collision occurred at about 4:50 p.m. August 3, on Highway 199 near Kings Valley Road.
CHP said a vehicle operated by an elderly driver was involved in a crash with a vehicle occupied by several minors. The vehicles involved were a red Ford Focus and a white Chevrolet Sonic.
The crash left the Chevrolet with major damage to its driver’s side while the Ford burst into flames.

Paramedics responded to the incident and attended to the victims who were injured in the crash. The injuries were described as minor.
No further details were released.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
