Man and Woman Killed in Angeles National Forest Crash on Angeles Crest Highway
Angeles National Forest, California (March 28, 2021) – A couple was killed in a fiery Saturday night traffic accident in Angeles National Forest, authorities said.
The deadly single-vehicle accident occurred at about 1:00 a.m. on Angeles Crest (2) Highway.
According to the CHP, a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by a man, failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, went in a northwesterly direction off the road and directly towards an ascending hillside located on the north end of the road.
Unfortunately, the Cruze flipped over and landed on its roof, partially blocked the eastbound lane and caught fire.

Sadly, the male driver and a female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
