Cotati, California (February 6, 2020) – A bicyclist sustained severe injuries following a traffic collision that happened in the area of Cotati at about 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
The major injury crash was reported on February 5, along Highway 116, also known as Gravenstein Highway just west of Stony Point Road.
According to a local news source, a semi-truck hit the bicyclist on the roadway for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact of the collision, the unidentified victim was ejected from the bike.

The bicyclist sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for medication.
It was not mentioned whether or not the involved motorist stopped after the crash and cooperated with the investigation.
