2 Hospitalized after Costa Mesa Crash on Highway 55 at 405 Freeway
Costa Mesa, California (November 18, 2019) – Two persons were injured after a multi-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in the area of Costa Mesa, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 1:22 p.m. Sunday, November 17, on southbound Highway 55 at 405 Freeway.
As per the dispatch, three vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

Responding emergency crews along with medical personnel attended to two parties injured in the crash. The patients were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities blocked lane 3, 4 and 5 following the crash.
No further information regarding this crash was provided.
