Bakersfield, California (August 22, 2020) – 23-year-old Eric Enriquez Jr. has been identified as the driver who died following a traffic collision that happened Wednesday morning in Bakersfield, the Kern County Coroner’s Office reported.
The fatal crash was reported at around 5:01 a.m., August 19, at Hosking Avenue and Monitor Street.
The accident involved a vehicle operated by Enriquez and a second car that collided at the Bakersfield intersection for undetermined reasons.

Enriquez died at Kern Medical while undergoing treatment of severe injuries.
The operator of the second vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the mishap.
