Girl Seriously Hurt in Coronado Beach Pedestrian Accident near Dog Park
Coronado Beach, California (July 9, 2019) – A-4-year-old girl sustained severe injuries in a pedestrian collision in Coronado Beach on Monday evening.
The Pedestrian crash was reported shortly before 6:15 p.m. July 8, at the north end of the beach, near Dog Park.
A local news source indicated that the accident happened when a lifeguard truck ran over the child at the north end of the beach for unknown reasons.

The young girl sustained severe hurts following the wreck. She was flown to Rady Children’s Hospital by the paramedics for further treatment. The name of the injured teen has not yet been released to this time.
The officials mentioned that two lifeguards who were patrolling in the area near Dog Park were inside the Chevrolet pickup that hit the child.
The investigation is still ongoing by the Coronado Police Department.
