Corey Brown ID’d as Person Killed in Rio Vista Crash on Highway 160 near Sherman Island Road
Rio Vista, California (November 13, 2020) – The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner’s office has identified the person who died in a head-on collision early Sunday morning in Rio Vista as Corey Joshua Brown, 29, of Stockton.
The deadly crash happened at around 12:18 a.m. Sunday, November 8, on Highway 160 near Sherman Island Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Civic collided with a pickup truck in the northbound lane of Highway 160.
Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Kaiser Vacaville. One other person was flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek with unspecified injuries.
No other details about the accident were given.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
