CHP Investigating Contra Costa County Accident on Highway 4 near McEwen Road
Contra Costa County, California (May 18, 2021) – Possible injuries were reported after multiple vehicles crashed on a highway in Contra Costa County Tuesday, May 18.
A white Nissan, a blue Toyota Prius, a silver Toyota Prius, and a brown van reportedly collided on Highway 4 near McEwen Road.
It was not immediately established how the four vehicles collided on the highway.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, one person was pinned inside one of the involved cars upon the impact.

The crash possibly resulted in injuries to an unspecified number of people.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
