Contra Costa County, CA: Multi-Vehicle Crash on Bixler and Marsh Creek Roads near Discovery Bay
5 Injured in Contra Costa Crash at Bixler and Marsh Creek Roads
Contra Costa County, California (March 14, 2019) – Several people were injured in a crash involving multiple vehicles late Wednesday night near Discovery Bay in eastern Contra Costa County.
According to the CHP, the wreck was reported at about 11:51 p.m. March 13 at Bixler and Marsh Creek roads.
The impact of the crash sent one of the vehicles into a ditch and another had major damage.
The fire officials said five people were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
A helicopter transported one of the victims to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
One person was taken into custody but the suspect’s charges were unknown.
The crash remained under investigation.
