At least 1 Hospitalized After Contra Costa Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway Near Highway 242
Contra Costa, California (September 9, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in Contra Costa on Thursday morning.
The collision happened at around 8:58 a.m. September 5, on Highway 4, near northbound Highway 242.
A California Highway Patrol report indicated that a gray Toyota, a black Honda sedan, and a white Honda car collided in the westbound side of the highway for reasons still under investigation.

At least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash. The victim was rushed to John Muir Hospital by paramedics for treatment.
The current condition and the name of the wounded party have not yet been released to this time.
