At least 1 Injured in Contra Costa Accident on 680 Freeway near Main Street
Contra Costa, California (July 18, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle crash Thursday morning in the area of Contra Costa, according to authorities.
The crash happened at around 6:37 a.m. Thursday, on northbound 680 Freeway, just south of Main Street.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 7:29 a.m.
No additional details concerning this crash were provided.
An investigation is underway.
