Minor Injuries Reported in Contra Costa Car Accident on Highway 4 and Somerville Road
Contra Costa, California (January 25, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Thursday night in the area of Contra Costa, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 7:40 p.m. Thursday, January 24, on Highway 4 and Somerville Road.
As per the report, two vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Officials closed lane 4 and 5 following the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
